The work screen and tasks
When you open a piece of work, you see your chat with the assigned AI and the work screen side by side. Hand something over in the chat and the work screen shows what is running, what needs your check, and what is done. On a narrow screen, use the Chat button at the bottom right to open and close the chat. A number appears beside it when you have unread messages.
The line at the top
The header shows the current state in one sentence. For example:
| Sentence | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Waiting for your answer | Answer in the chat and work picks up right away |
| Waiting for your approval | Something needs your OK |
| Please check the result | Decide whether to accept the result |
| Working on what you asked | Your assigned AI is working |
| Done. Only your stamp is left | Confirm on the work card |
| Partly done. Please take a look | Some parts could not be done |
| This work is paused | You paused the work |
| Nothing assigned yet | Hand something over in the chat |
A small chip beside it appears only for a special situation on the team: Paused or Setup needs your check. The sentence already says what is happening now, so there is no separate chip for that.
Tabs on the screen
Depending on the work, you may see these tabs.
- Workbench: a screen your assigned AI arranged to fit the kind of work. When there is one, it opens first.
- Now: what needs your check, what is in progress, the work card, and what you can assign.
- Task board: tasks split into columns.
- Screens your assigned AI shows, such as a table or a booking sheet, are added as tabs. On ready-made work, a default screen taken off the tabs can be brought back from Hidden screens with Show again. If you closed a screen your assigned AI added, ask your assigned AI when you need it again.
When your assigned AI rearranges the screen, a one-line notice such as “Rearranged the screen” appears once under the header. If you don’t like it, press Undo.
The task board
A task is one thing you handed over. The task board has four columns.
| Column | What is in it |
|---|---|
| Needs you | Tasks that move on once you answer or confirm. Finished tasks waiting for your result check are also here |
| In progress | Tasks your assigned AI is working on |
| Scheduled | The next start time of each scheduled run that is on (read-only rows, not tasks) |
| Done | Finished tasks. Some are folded: open them with Show more finished, and load older ones with Load earlier tasks |
Empty columns are not drawn. Press a task row to open the chat for that task. Tasks created by a scheduled run carry Run #N.
Reason labels
The small label beside a task tells you why it is in its column.
| Label | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Question | Your assigned AI is waiting for your answer |
| Paused, please confirm | Confirm that a paused task may continue |
| Check result | Please check the result |
| Notice | There is something to tell you |
| Awaiting approval | Needs your approval before it runs |
| Awaiting browser approval | Needs your approval for something in the browser |
| Connection needed | An outside service has to be connected |
| Blocked | It cannot go further right now |
| Step n of m | How far it got in a multi-step task |
| Partly done | Only part of it was done |
| Could not be handled | It ended without being handled |
| Stopped | The task was stopped partway |
Tasks that finished without problems have no reason label, because the “Done” column already says it.
Checking results
Two small buttons sit under a result.
- Looks good: marks the result as accepted. After you press it you see “Confirmed”, and Undo takes it back. Sometimes you are also asked “What was good about it? (optional)”. If you answer, it is saved as the standard for this work.
- Needs changes: marks that changes are needed and opens a conversation with “Tell us what to change”. Pressing the button alone does not make your assigned AI start fixing it. Tell it what to change in the chat.
On the work card, the same action is the confirm stamp: “Review what was done and press Confirm. This result is kept as accepted.” with the Confirm and finish button. If only part was done, you see Confirm what’s done, and what was not done stays as a request.
Downloading, copying or opening a result, or not responding, does not count as accepting it.
Run cards and stopping
In the chat, what your assigned AI did, its run history, appears as a run card. Read the status of one run like this.
- Running: it is working. Press Cancel to stop it.
- Done · n steps: finished.
- Error at step n: something went wrong along the way. A reason is shown with it.
- Cancelled: stopped midway.
- Checking status, Awaiting confirmation: the service is checking its state.
Pausing work
Open Manage work (the ⋯ menu) in the work screen header and choose Pause work.
- Until you resume, it takes no new requests and skips scheduled runs.
- Work already in progress finishes.
- Choose Resume to start again.
The menu has Assigned AI settings. On the screen of a newly created AI team, View setup also appears when there is a setup to show. Deleting work is only in the card menu in My work. Deleting removes its assigned AIs, team conversation, task records and scheduled runs, and it can’t be undone. Tables and files on the Data screen stay.
Work, tasks and runs are different
| Name | Meaning | Example states |
|---|---|---|
| Work | A service you keep using | In use, paused |
| Task | One thing handed over inside the work | Needs you, in progress, done |
| Run history | One pass at handling a task | Running, done, error, cancelled |
A finished task does not mean the work is finished or deleted. Pausing work leaves finished tasks as they are.
Advanced
You don’t need this section for everyday use. Read it only if you want to know why screens differ by server value.
- Addresses: ready-made work is
/work/work-id, and a newly created AI team is/work/teams/team-id. The two screens are similar, but ready-made work also has the screen tabs its work defines and the “Scheduled runs” card. - The server decides which column a task goes in and which reason label it gets. Web and mobile draw the same value.
- The mobile app opens the same web work screen.
